ABOUT US

The BNP Paribas Foundation in Poland was established in 2006 to carry out tasks related to the social responsibility of BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A.

 

The foundation runs scholarship programs, manages social involvement of Bank’s employees and cooperates with social organisations both content and money-wise. The chairman of the Foundation Supervisory Board is the President of the Management Board of BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A., and members representing key areas of the Bank's operations from the perspective of the Foundation's goals.

HELP FOR UKRAINE

 

In response to the war in Ukraine, the BNP Paribas Foundation in Poland and BNP Paribas Bank Polska S.A. created a special solidarity fund. Its aim is to immediately and effectively help people who have had to leave their homes.

The collected money will be allocated in the first place to transport, housing, formalities and other basic needs.

COOPERATION WITH NGOs

 

The Foundation has been supporting the NGO sector for many years, cooperating long-term with selected expert organizations in areas covered by the Foundation's statute.

The Foundation has also been a member of the Donors Forum since 2009. The Foundation is involved in the development of the NGO sector in Poland; it is a member of various coalitions and working groups. Representatives of the Foundation co-created, i.a. corporate foundation operating standards and standards for measuring the effects of social initiatives in the "We act for change" project.
