Information Policy
I. Rules of the "Information Policy of Bank BNP Paribas”
Bank BNP Paribas pursues a transparent and efficient information policy, providing its shareholders, current and potential customers, investors, market analysts, journalists, media representatives and other stakeholders with correct, clear and complete information about the Bank.
When providing information, the Bank as a public company and a supervised entity complies with the corporate governance rules and the binding legal regulations, including the provisions of the Banking Law Act, the Code of Commercial Partnerships and Companies, the Act on Public Offering and the Act on Trading in Financial Instruments. In particular, the Bank complies with the rules of keeping the bank and professional secrecy and of preventing the use and disclosure of confidential information.
As a public company, the Bank ensures equal access to information on its current activity, undertaken actions and financial results to all capital market players, thus performing its disclosure obligations in a way allowing to effect a reliable valuation of the Bank's shares.
II. Pursuing the "Information Policy of Bank BNP Paribas"
The Management Board together with the Corporate Communication Department are responsible for the shaping and implementation of the Bank's Information Policy.
The Spokesperson and employees of the PR Team are responsible for representing the Bank in contacts with the media and opinion-making circles. Apart from the members of the Management Board, only the Spokesperson and the PR Team employees are authorized to officially present the Bank's position in the media.
The Investor Relations Office is responsible for relations with shareholders, investors and other capital market players.
The tasks of the Investor Relations Office include ensuring that the disclosure obligations of the Bank as a company listed on Warsaw Stock Exchange are timely and duly met.
The Information Policy of Bank BNP Paribas does not, however, regulate the obligations to publish qualitative and quantitative information regarding the Bank's capital adequacy. A relevant document regulating these issues is entitled "Principles of Information Policy of Bank BNP Paribas regarding Capital Adequacy” and is published on the Bank's website, in the Investor Relations section, under Information on capital adequacy section.
III. Adopting and amending the Information Policy
This Information Policy is adopted and amended by a resolution of the Bank's Management Board.
